Transit Discounts

  • Full-time students are eligible for a 25% discount on NJ Transit rail, bus, or light rail monthly passes.
  • Faculty and staff are eligible for benefits which allow the use of pre-tax dollars to pay for transit passes and parking.

The campus is served by four NJ Transit bus lines and two train stations – Montclair State University and Montclair Heights.

Campus Shuttles

Our campus shuttles are free and open to the public.
Our buses run on low-sulfur diesel fuel which reduces the emission of harmful pollutants, such as nitrogen oxide and particulate matter.
